Spammers

More spamming rants!  

This time it was my aunt that was spammed.  I went with her last year to buy an apple computer and printer.  She also bought a warrantee and tech support.

We (I) took to back after a month.  Now it's been a year.  She called me up to take her grocery shopping.  As soon as we got into the store - she "ran" right to the gift card section.  I thought it was weird, but until I saw her grab $500 worth of google play cards I didn't say anything.  When she took them to the cashier I questioned her.  She said the man that was "fixing" her computer needed to be paid with google play cards.  I told her she was being scammed.  She assured me she was not - that is how you pay to get your computer fixed.

I told my auntie that ANY company would take a credit card, they didn't need google play cards.  She wouldn't listen.

Any trip to the store with her is 3 hours.  After the google play card purchase we started in the produce.  I called my oldest son to ask him what to do - he was sick.  He said the same thing as me - she was being spammed.

My son told me to take her to the police station when we were done shopping.  I didn't do it, but I probably should have.

Please don't take a chance - if  you can't pay with your credit card - you're getting SPAMMED!
