A Little of this . . .and a Little of That

I like to bake.

My easiest recipe:

Peanut Butter Cookies

1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg

Mix together. Form balls. Bake 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
DO NOT OVER BAKE. They will continue to cook a little.
They will burn easily.

These are fabulous! I really like them with crunchy peanut butter.

Try a batch.

I don't know why I'm thinking about cooking. I'm too tired to cook. A big (5 day) weekend traveling. My mom, baby sister & her hubby let me go with them to Minnesota - to my bro's home - to see my nephew graduate. I might try to post some pics.

Anyways, here's another easy recipe from my sister-in-law, Kathy.

Fruit Cobbler

2-3 cans of pie filling (I like cherry, or a mix of berries)
1 yellow or white cake mix
1 cup butter or margarine

Put the pie filling in the bottom of a greased 9 X 13 inch pan. Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the top of the filling. Put pats of butter over the cake mix. Bake 375 degrees for 45 minutes. YUM!
Try the cherry with a chocolate cake mix - it's like a black forest cake.

Enjoy.

more later
