This nice setting was done by my daughter, Brenda and her family.

                              What a nice time we had.  Bren made all of the decorations, worked on the yard, AND did the food!

We were at dinner last night with some friends, and I thought it might be a good idea to become food tasters and give my own opinion about the food. 

We went to Los Cucos grand opening in Sandy, Utah.  It took a long time for the waiter to take our order, after I arrived.  I was the last one - the other 3 in my party were already there.  Oh, he asked to take our order before I had open up the menu, then it took a long time for him to return.

Molly got 3 tacos.  She said they were good.  Jeff got 2 enchiladas.  He like them OK.  Al got a taco salad.  Not a lot was right with it.  Al asked for dressing on the side.  I don't think it even had dressing.  When Al didn't get the dressing, he asked for some and got some cheese sauce.  On the third trip, the dressing arrived.  I ordered flautas?  They were exactly like a taquito.  They were OK - not wonderful.  The rice was undercooked and it had corn it it.  The refried beans were a little too thick for my liking.

By the time Al got his dressing, we were ready to go.  He got a box for his taco salad, the only problem was, it was a divided box and the taco bowl didn't fit. 

The taco bowl was good the next morning, when I ate it for breakfast.  We are watching to see if this place stays in business.

Got some new digs.  I am LOVING uptown.  I don't like rush traffic, but I am more inclined to walk uptown.


Have you seen the new City Creek?  It is so beautiful.  I really like the rushing water.  I've even seen a few fish in the waters.  It will be nice in the winter.  The pavers are heated.  I haven't bought anything there yet, but it's a fun walk.

New Month, New Job, New stress!!

I now travel a lot farther to get to work.

Maybe things will change - for school in June.

Downtown SLC is fun and exciting.  That's the good part.

I've done lots of walking since I've been there.

Welcome the New Year 2012!  and now we are almost to the second month.

My mom had back surgery today.  I hope it helps the pain she has been in.

My mother-in-law has surgery on her shoulder tomorrow.  She has to stay at the hospital for 3 days.  I hope her shoulder works for her when she is done.

It seems like a lot of illnesses are going around right now.
